Club historySidcup Bowls Club (SBC) was established in 1911 as a sports section of the Sidcup Recreation Club. Since then it has actively participated at the North West Kent, regional and national bowls levels as well as a variety of other leagues.

Sport and social programmeThrough its direct association with The Sidcup Recreation Club (SRC), the bowls section not only enjoys the full facilities of a highly active club covering internal and inter-club competitive activities, its own clubhouse and green, it also enjoys all the considerable social activities and bar of the ‘Rec’ Club.
Links are also available with the Tennis and Petanque sections as well as access to Darts, snooker and table tennis activities. |
A club for allSBC has both Men’s and Ladies’ sections both of which are always happy to welcome new novice and experienced players. For new starters we offer not only a friendly welcome but also access to coaching and general guidance plus advice on equipment and the rules of play. For experienced players looking for a new club, we offer access to a season-long programme of internal club competitions across the whole range of formats plus the chance to get involved in external league competitions such as the North West Kent and LSC leagues, PCL, LX and Ladies' leagues. |
